The doctor enjoys doing charity work in his spare time. Recently, he volunteered with his daughter to help prepare food for the homeless at the Union Gospel Mission and kidServe Seattle Operation Sack Lunch. They also worked with the neighborhood association in the 9th ward in New Orleans over this recent Spring Break.
The Union Gospel Mission has been serving the Seattle-area homeless since 1932 with food, shelter, educational resources and an array of services designed to empower and give hope back to those who need it most. KidServe Seattle is a great resource for parents with kids between the ages of 5-12 years old who want to expose their children to volunteer work. They partner with a variety of different Seattle-area non-profits to help kids learn what it means to give back. Please check it out if you are interested, they are always looking for more volunteers!
