Our 2018 IVF success rates are world-class across all ages. This again puts Overlake Reproductive Health’s frozen IVF cycles Success Rates significantly higher than the national average. We are at 70.7% for Live Birth in the under age 35 group. While almost all other clinics improve their rates by implanting multiple embryos, ORH achieved our high live birth rates with our policy of implanting only one embryo at a time for a safe pregnancy and a healthy mother and child.
2018 Art Cycles
|Live Birth Rate Per Transfer||70.79%||58.50%||73.3%||50%|
A comparison of clinic success rates may not be meaningful because patient medical characteristics, treatment approaches, and entry criteria for ART may vary from clinic to clinic.
ORH uses a SET (Single Embryo Transfer) as part as our IVF protocol for every IVF patient. While implanting multiple embryos can greatly increase a clinic’s success rates, we believe it does so at the increased health risk of both mother and embryos. A single embryo has the highest chance of a healthy, full-term pregnancy and a healthy mother. Because we use frozen cycles, we encourage our patients to have a single healthy baby and come back whenever they’re ready for another. Their frozen embryos will be ready and waiting.
We attribute our success to our process of doing freeze-all IVF cycles which allow the stimulated uterus a chance to recover before implantation and our policy of universal PGT (Preimplantation Genetic Testing) to check for chromosomal abnormalities in the embryos before they are transferred. This process, as well as our team of expert doctors and embryologists, are part of our growing success.
